After 24 years of near dereliction Hunslet 2414 is now making a comeback. Stripped down to the frames the engine is being
restored to original condition at the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.
This site will present our progress with the engines restoration. We will try to include photos and images that show the work
going on and the engines working life.We will also include specific information about the 50550 class of engines and the other
two engines of the class still in existance.
